Explain the Root amputation, Hemisectioning and Bicuspidization

  1. Root amputation: removal of one or more roots of a multirooted tooth "upper teeth".
  2. Hemisectioning: surgical division of a multirooted tooth "and the defected root is removed".
  3. Bicuspidization: surgical division of a mandibular molar "crown and root of both halves are retained.
