Real time operating System:
A real-time operating system has suitably-defined, fixed time constraints. Processing should be done in the defined constraints or else the system will fail. A real time system is seems to function correctly only if this returns the accurate result in any time constraints. Therefore the following features are desirable in a real-time operating system (OS):
1. Multi-tasking in an application
2. Capability to define the priorities of tasks
3. Priority deadline or driven oriented scheduling
4. Programmer defined interrupts.
I think yes...so if 8259 gives interrupt then it will be serviced instantly but since into pin is left hanging the insr bit will never be set...and so whenever any interrupt occurs
