When a small quantity of boron or Indium (group III A elements ) is added to silicon or Germanium, holes are formed in it and it becomes good conductor of positive charges. Such a substance is called as P-type substances.
It is the degree or extent by which magnetic lines of force can enter a substance and is expressed by µ.
