Explain Nucleic acids
Nucleic acids, like proteins, are high niolecular weight polymers present in all living cells. The two major classes of nucleic acids are DNA and RNA. Surely, you are aware of these nucleic acids. The monolneric units of nucleic acids are called as nucleotides. Complete hydrolysis of nucleic acids yields heterocyclic nitrogenous bases, five carbon sugars and phosphoric acid molecules. Their main function is storage and transmission of genetic information.
