Explain Noise
Noise is unwanted signals which degrade the desired signal content and therefore the performance of the system. Noise might be produced either externally or internally to the system. External noise contains atmospheric interference, man-made interference, lightning, etc. Internal noises are produced by the components and devices used in the system.
Voltage divider bias: The voltage divider is made by using external resistors R 1 and R 2 . The voltage beyond than R 2 forward biases the emitter junction. Via prop

Q. Discuss FDM and illustrate how CCITT stndards help in building the base band? Ans: Frequency Division Multiplexing: It is the process of combining numerous informatio
List few applications of microprocessor-based system. It is used: i. For measurements, display and control of current, voltage, temperature, pressure, etc. ii. For traff
1. A PCM system uses 8 bits per sample and the analog signal is limited to 4.3 kHz. The PCM data is transmitted using (a) BFSK and (b) ASK. Determine the bandwidth required for tra
Explain Limit Signal Spectrum to Prevent Aliasing? The sampling frequency should at least be two times that of the highest frequency in the incoming signal to avoid aliasing. T
Define a voltmeter A voltmeter is an instrument used to measure p.d. and must be linked in parallel with the part of the circuit whose p.d. is required.
A color television receiver is shown in Figure in block diagram form, indicating only the basic functions. The early part forms a straightforward superheterodyne receiver, except f
The inputs to an SRFF are shown in Figure. Determine the value of Q at times t 1 , t 2 , and t 3 .
Temperature Triggering At high temperature the leakage current of junction J 2 increases. This leakage current is collector current of tr 1 and Tr 2 . So rise in temperat
