Explain Magnetostriction.
Magnetostriction: If ferromagnetic materials are magnetized a small change of dimensions of the material obtains place. There is a small extension along with equivalent reduction of cross-section of the crystals of that the material is made. When this rapidly alternating magnetic fields so there is a rapid and continuous extension and contraction of the material. It is termed as magnetostriction. This magnetostriction is the main cause of hum in transformers and chokes.
Explain the Advantage of Synchronous Counters? The most significant advantage of synchronous counters is that there is no cumulative time delay because all flip-flops are trigg
Q. A balanced delta-connected load with a per-phase impedance of 12 + j9 is supplied by a 173-V, 60-Hz three-phase source. (a) Determine the line current, the power factor, th
A 500KVA, 6 pole, 500v, 3 phase, wye-connected synchronous generator has a synchronous impedance of 0.1 + j1.5 ohms per phase. If the generator is driven at 1000 r.p.m., what is th
Low-pass electronic filter: The capacitors and inductors are the reactive elements of the filter. The number of elements ascertains the order of the filter. In this situation,

Thermal noise This is the most significant noise in an ampli?er. It is produced by random movements of electrons in the resistors. This is caused by the ?uctuations in the volt
having looked at the circuit, i first wanted to start my frequency from 0 and plot for 10000 to 20000. so in matlab i used f = 0:10000:20000; but the equation for frequency is f= 1
