Ledge bypass - StSt not NiT cause it has shape memory

  • Ledges from outside the curvatures.
  • The file tip is slowly scraped along the internal wall of the canal curve slightly coronal to the level of the ledge.
  • Looking for another sticky spot that indicate the entrance to the apical canal segment.
  • Gentle reciprocal rotation allow the file to negotiated to the canal terminus.
  • Confirm with a radiograph.
  • Short-amplitude push/pull and rotational forces.(not more than 1 mm )
  • Anti-curvature filing to blend the ledge.
