Explain In-Vitro Detection of Antigen-Antibody Interaction

Any infection caused, requires a proper treatment. This can be achieved only if the correct organism is identified. Sometime organisms like viruses cannot be detected or an infection in the inaccessible part of the body can occur. During such situations it becomes necessary to depend on presence of specific antibodies in the blood as an indirect evidence of an infection. This is obtained by specific antigen-antibody interaction (Ag-Ab). They can be detected through various laboratory tests.
