Explain Hypercapnia and Hypocapnia - Histotoxic Hypoxia

Hypercapnia: It is the retention of carbon dioxide in the body. There is a depression of the central nervous system.

Hypocapnia: During hyperventilation, the arterial pCO2 falls. This condition is called hypocapnia.
