Explain how we Converting Fractions to Percents ?

To convert a fraction to a percent:
1. Convert the fraction to a decimal using long division.
2. Move the decimal point two places to the right and put a percent sign after the number.
Example: Convert 4/40 to a percent.
Step 1: Convert the fraction to a decimal using long division.

So 4/40 = 0.1.
Step 2: Move the decimal point two places to the right and put a percent sign after the number.

So 0.1 = 10%
Therefore, 4/40= 10%.
