Q. Explain Hot weather Patrolling ?

Hot weather Patrolling is done for LWR and CWR tracks when the rail temperature reaches td + 200 C and above and td + 140 C for Central Railway.

Security Patrolling -

Security Patrolling of the specified section is done on special occasions link civil disturbances strikes etc with the object of protect trains against any sabotage etc like tampering of track placing of obstructions on the line etc.

Monsoon Patrolling -

Monsoon night Patrolling is done by Patrolmen in a programmed way on specified sections of the railway track to detect damage done by floods such as breaches settlements.
