Explain Hierarchical Model ?

Hierarchical Model - It was established to model several kinds of hierarchical organizations which exist in the real world. It uses tree structures to represent relationship between records. In hierarchical model, no dependent record could occur without its parent record occurrence and no dependent record occurrence might be linked to more than one parent record occurrence.
