Explain Haemopoietic function

Gastric juice contains the intrinsic factor, which is essential for the absorption of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 present in food combines with intrinsic factor of the gastric juice. It is absorbed through the walls of the small intestine and stored in the liver. It is required for red blood cell maturation in the bone marrow.
