Explain function points, Software Engineering

Assignment Help:

Function points: Function point calculates the functionality from the user point of view, that is, on the basis of what the user request and receives in return. Thus, it deals with the functionality being delivered, and not with the lines of code, source modules, files etc. Measuring size in this way has the benefit that size measure is independent of the technology used to deliver the function.
