Explain Electron Microscope?

Electron microscopes have higher magnification and resolving power than light microscopes.  What do we mean by magnification and resolving power? We shall get to know about this later in section 1.4. But for now, it is important to note that in electron microscope, the limit of resolution is 0.2 nm and magnification can be up to more than one million. These microscopes can be used to visualize submicroscopic cellular particles, viruses etc.
