Explain Eicosanoids

Eicosanoids are the  local hormones formed  by  body  tissues during self-healing responses  to  stimuli.  Eicosanoids are  a family  of  compounds  derived from  poly unsaturated eicosanoic acids. They are produced from arachidonic acid, a 20-carbon.
