Explain concept of ideal gas, Physics

Assignment Help:

The ideal gas approximation: The given assumptions are suppose while defining an ideal gas:

(i) The number of molecules in the gas is very huge.

(ii) The volume V having the gas is much larger than the total volume really retain by the gas particles themselves.

(iii)The dynamics of the molecules is governed by Newton's laws of motion.

(iv)The molecules are equivalent likely to be moving in any direction.

(v) The gas molecules interact with each other and with the walls of the container only by elastic collisions.

(vi)The molecules of the gas are identical and indistinguishable.
