Explain classification of lipids, Biology

Assignment Help:

Classification of lipids

A general classification of lipids based on their structural components is presented in table. Such a classification, however, is possibly too rigid for a group of compounds as diverse as lipids and should be used only as a guide. The table gives the major, sub-class and description of the various lipids.
