Explain brazing and soldering, Chemical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Brazing and Soldering - Both soldering and brazing processes are useful for combination two dissimilar metals. Both brazing alloy and solder have lower melting points than the metals to be joined. Filler metal used in soldering has a melting point below 800°F while that in brazing has melting point above 800°F.
