Arc-Welding Processes

Arc-welding includes those welding processes wherein heat required for welding is derived from an arc powered by electrical energy, may be AC of DC as shown in figure1.2. Very high temperatures (up to 30,000'C and more) are obtained in the welding are developed between the tip of electrode and the work piece.
