Ammeter:
An electromechanical instrument which is used to calculate the amount of current flowing by an electric circuit is known as an ammeter.
It is modified form of a galvanometer. In order to change galvanometer into an ammeter, a low resistance wire is connected parallel to galvanometer. This low resistance wire is known as shunt that is in presence of shunt, a galvanometer act as an ammeter. Ammeter is always linked in series in a circuit.
A capacitor is to be constructed so that its capacitance is 0.2µF and to take a p.d. of 1.25kV across its terminals. The dielectric is to be mica which, after allowing a safet
what is the principle of tangent galvanometer?
Newton's law of universal gravitation (Sir I. Newton): Two bodies attract to each other with equal & opposite forces; the magnitude of this force is proportional to the produ
Capacitors: When a voltage is applied to a capacitive circuit there is a change in the electric flux. The ease with which this change takes place is a measure of the capacitan
Snell's Law: The ratio of sine of angle of incidence to the sine of angle of refraction is constant for all rays passing from one medium to another medium. That is Sini/Sinr
The phase of weightlessness may be observed in the following situations: (i) When objects fall freely under gravity : For example, a lift goes down freely, or an airship showing
A sprinter runs 100.0 m. If he travels at constant acceleration of 1.95 m/s2 for the first 6.00 s, and then at constant velocity for the remaining time, what was his average veloci
(a) Show that the total power in a 3-phase, 3-wire system using the two-wattmeter method of measurement is given by the sum of the wattmeter readings. Draw a connection diagram.
A 9.0-kg crate sits on a level, rough floor. A 61-N force is required just to begin it moving. What is the size of the coefficient of maximum static friction?
Explain the Density Density is a measure of how densely packed matter is. One standard brick weighs more than the same size piece of Styrofoam but less than the same size bric
