Explain about the value chain for a manufactured product.

The products sold in shops and purchased for use within organizations are the result of a complicated web of relationships among manufacturers, component suppliers, retailers and wholesalers, the logistic infrastructure which links them together.

The web of the trade relationships is taken to as the supply chain or the value chain. Value chains are different among trade sectors.

An overall value chain for a manufactured product is demonstrated into a simple form:
