Explain about the term spatial coherence of Laser.
Spatial coherence:
This coherence is a measure of the correlation among the phases of a light wave at several points’ transverse to the direction of propagation. This coherence tells us how identical the phase of the wave front is. More exactly, the spatial coherence is the cross-correlation in between two points into a wave for all times. When a wave has only one value of amplitude over an infinite length, then this is absolutely spatially coherent.
Intensities of an ordinary light and laser light The intensity (I) of a wave is the energy per unit time flowing through a unit normal area. The light from an ordinary light so
Tiger Woods can hit a golf ball with 55 N of force. How hard does the ball hit back on the club? (a) more than 55 N of force, (b) less than 55 N of force, (c) exactly 55 N of force
EXAMPLES: (i) A book lying on the table remains at rest until it is listed or pushed by exerting a force. (ii)A rolling ball on the ground comes to rest after covering some
