Explain about the term spatial coherence of Laser.
Spatial coherence:
This coherence is a measure of the correlation among the phases of a light wave at several points’ transverse to the direction of propagation. This coherence tells us how identical the phase of the wave front is. More exactly, the spatial coherence is the cross-correlation in between two points into a wave for all times. When a wave has only one value of amplitude over an infinite length, then this is absolutely spatially coherent.
