Explain about the Reproduction in Fungi?

Fungi, we have seen above, reproduce both sexually and asexually. Asexual mode of reproduction include budding, binary fission and more commonly through spore production. Asexual spores include anthrospores, chlamydospores, sporangiospores, conidiospores and blastospores. Sexual reproduction involves union of compatible nuclei to produce zygospores, ascospores and basidiospores. The spores are important means in fungal dissemination and are also useful in identification of fungal species.
