Explain about the Family and Social History - Assessment

Recent studies suggest that genetic variation plays an important role in etiology of learning problems. Hence, the collection of information regarding a family's history of academic difficulties is often relevant in establishing a possible familial basis for learning problems. Family History should also be collected regarding psychiatric disturbances, language disorders, and neurological illnesses, each of which can also signal a biological foundation for later neuropsychological deficits.
