Q. Explain about Podophyllum?

These species were long used by indigenous people in Americea and Asia, including for the treatment of skin cancers and warts. The combination of cumulative demand and loss of the habitat led to the placement of Podophyllum hexandrum on Appendix II of the CITES list in January 1990.
