Pantothenic acid (Calcium pantothenate)
Calcium pantothenate is a white, loose, faintly hygroscopic powder without odour and of bitter taste. It is easily soluble in water, glycerin, sparingly soluble in ethanol, acetone and ether; insoluble in chloroform and benzene. A 5% aqueous solution has a pH of 7.2-8.0.
