Q. Explain about Nonconforming Material?
If PMI test results indicate that the material or item does not meet the specified composition of the alloy, the subject material/item is considered nonconforming and shall be rejected.
• If material or items that do not conform to the specified standard or specification shall be documented on a NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and the NCR provided to WorleyParsons to determine the extent of further testing to identify the material and suitability for use. The item shall be immediately tagged "REJECT" and shall be moved to an area designated as "REJECT AREA" until an authorized disposition is provided.
• The Supplier or Subcontractor is responsible for replacing the material/item with the correct specified material and for performing PMI on all replacement material/items.
