Another important part of brain is hypothalamus. It is very small in sie.

It controls many important functions which are as follows:

 Blood pressure control

 Hunger and thirst

 Feeding

 Maintaining body temperature

 Shivering

 Sweating

 To get angry and keep cool

 Mating

 Emotional behaviour
