Q. Explain about Delay System?
Delay System: A class of telecommunication networks, like data networks, places the message or call arrivals in a queue in the absence of resources and services them as and when resources become available. Servicing isn't taken up until resources become available. Such systems are called Delay Systems. Delay Systems are analysed using queuing theory which is sometimes termed as waiting line theory.
Delay Systems in telecommunications include the following:
• Message Switching
• Packet Switching
• Digit Receiver access
• Automatic Call distribution
• Call Processing
Collection and Payment Systems Payments are currently made in person in most of the places. Only some places payments could be made on line or by the ATM (Automated Teller Mac
