Explain about cluster computing, Computer Engineering

Assignment Help:

The idea of clustering is defined as use of multiple computers naturally multiple storage devices, PCs or UNIX workstations and their interconnections to make what emerges to users like single highly available system. Workstation clusters is a group of loosely-connected processors where every workstation behaves as an autonomous and independent agent. The cluster performs faster than normal systems.

Generally a 4-CPU cluster is about 250~300% faster than single CPU PC. As well it not only decreases computational time however also permits simulations of much bigger computational systems models than before. Due to cluster computing overnight analysis of a complete 3D injection molding simulation for an extremely complicated model is probable.
