A tin can charcoal burner

A large tin can at least 10 cm in diameter should be use. About 4 cm from the bottom mark off triangular windows around the can, as shown in the diagram. With a pair of shears cut along the sloping sides of every triangle to make the windows. Do not cut along the base line. Bend the triangular parts inward to form a shelf for the charcoal.
