The State of NewYork certifies firefighters throughout state and keep track all of them, as well as of the state’s fire departments. Each fire department has unique department number, name that also identifies city, county. year was established, its main telephone number. Each certified firefighter has unique firefighter number, name, year of certification, home telephone number, rank (firefighter,fire lieutenant,fire captain) The state wants to record fire department for which each fire fighter currently works and each fire fighter’s supervisor. Supervisors are always higher-ranking certified fire fighters.
