In living organisms, shuttle intermediate compounds along directed pathways,enzymes catalyze reactions, and provide control over biological procedures. Whether animal, bacteria, plant, or virus, enzymes are must for life. Enzymes are also of extreme medicinal interest, for most of the drugs prescribed are enzyme inhibitors.
