electric potential , Physics

Assignment Help:
As we know that"The electric potential at a certain point inside the electric field is defined as the amount of work done in bringing a unit positive test charge uniformly (without having acceleration)from infinity to the point concerned."
My question is that why the positive test charge should move from infinity to the concerned point without having acceleration?
What would happen if the positive test charge moves with acceleration?
Does a positive test charge while moving in straight line with acceleration radiates energy or the net charge remains constant through moving to the point concerned
