8. Simultaneous loose-tight Properties.

The very last attribute (Simultaneous loose-tight Properties) is a synopsis of the above 7, As according to Peters and Waterman. "Simultaneous loose-tight properties are in essence the coexistence of the central direction and greatest individual autonomy of a corporation... Organizations that exist by the loose-tight theory are on the one hand strictly controlled. Yet simultaneously they permit (indeed, insist on): entrepreneurship, autonomy, and innovation from the rank and file".

Peters adds that a ninth item must be added in the list: 

9. Capabilities concerning liberation, ideas, and speed.
