Efficient library management:
These-functions are carried out by any reasonably efficient library. The emphasis the definition is on the provision of information as a major function of the information service department and its staff. In this context, the term 'major' connotes both the proportion m and available time spent in the repackaging of information for use according to particular needs of clients.
