A cash management program is an extremely significant component of the overall financial management of a municipality. Such type of a program benefits the city or town by increasing non-tax revenues, enhancing the control and superintendence of cash, increasing contacts with members of the financial community and lowering borrowing costs, while at similar time maintaining the safety of the municipality''s funds.
