Effects for urban areas, History

Assignment Help:

Industrialization provided numerous side effects for urban areas--such as a need for improved infrastructure, chlorinated water, fire safety systems, etc. It also created ethnic neighborhoods, the rise of tenements and slums, labor unions, and the need for social support systems (typically provided by private, not public, entities). What are some other side effects of industrialization and how have they helped shape the American 20th century?
