Q. Economic aspect of biodiversity?

Biodiversity serves as an income generating activity for countries around the world. Many people visit forests, beaches, mountains, grasslands, lakes, ponds, estuaries and streams for extended vacations or for shorter periods for relaxat ion. More than 130 million people visit U.S. national parks each year, and millions of dollars are spent annually on nature activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, whale watching and wildlife photography. Around the world the number of ecotourists, people travelling to enjoy nature and various cultures, is increasing.
