Q. What are the major divisions and representing species of the gymnosperms?

This group of plants can be separated into conifers (pine, sequoia, cypress), that have flowers called as strobiles (cones), cycads (very ancient gymnosperms, such like the cycads used in garden architecture, that as well form strobiles), ginkgos (the known species is Ginkgo biloba) and gnetaceae (gnetum).
