DISEASES OF POULTRY -

Poultry birds suffer from a variety of diseases -

Nutritional            -          Rickets

Viral                    -          Ranikhet Bact -                         

Fowl cholera Fungal    -     Aspergillosus

Parasitic              -          Coccidiosis round worm disease

1.       RANIKHET -

Common symptoms are loss of appetite, droopiness, sleppiness, ruffled feathers, birds show progresssive paralysis.

2.       COCCIDIOSIS -

It affects young birds, mortality rate is very high. It is characterized by blood stained diarrhoea.

3.       TICK FEVER -

It is the highly fatal disease. It spreads by the tick bites, increased thirst, fever, paleness of comb.
