Discuss the Carnot cycle of operation and reduce the expression for efficiency. Carnot engine is works on the principle of Carnot cycle made up of four stages are represented as shown in (PV) diagram.
1) Isothermal expansion (LM): The gas is permitted to expand isothermally. During the expansion gas absorb an amount of heat Q1 from the source at T1.
(2)Adiabatic expansion (MN): The gas is permitted to expand adiabatically till the temperature of gas falls to T2, the temperature of the sink,
(3) Isothermal compression (NO): The gas is compressed slowly at constant temperature T2. During this method a certain amount of heat Q2 is rejected into the sink,
(4) Adiabatic compression (OL): The gas is further compressed adiabatically till it returns to its initial state L. The cycle of operations, LM, MN, NO and OL is known as the Carnot cycle. It is shown by the closed loop LMNOL.

Induced electric currents can be explained using which of the following laws? a) Gauss's Law b) Faraday's Law c) Ohm's Law d) Ampere's Law Ans: Induced e
A coil of resistance 1.5k Ω and 0.25H inductance is connected in parallel with a variable capacitance across a 10V, 8kHz supply. Calculate (a) the capacitance of the capacitor
mass=volume * density.By using this formula we can find the mass of sphere. Volume of sphere=(4/3)pi*r^3 V=(4/3)*3.14*(1*10^-2)^3=4.187*10^-6 Mass=(4.187*10^-6)*900=3768*10^-6kg
What is free fall acceleration? On earth free fall acceleration is 9.81 meters per second per second or 32.2 feet per second per second, not containing air resistance. Aroun
