Digestion in the Intestine

About  2  to  3  liters  of  alkaline  fluid  is secreted every  day  by  the intestine  and completes the digestive process.  Sodium bicarbonate and  sodium  chloride are the main  inorganic components. The organic components include enzymes such  as aminopeptidases, dipepetidases  of various specificity,  specific  disaccharidases, phospholipases etc.  Let us get to know about  these enzymes and about the control of these (intestinal)  secretions.
