Different laws of perfect gas, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

(a) What is an ideal gas ? How does it differ from perfect gas ? Write the different laws of perfect gas.

(b) The pressure in a car tyre was checked at 15oC temp. and reading of 1.75 bar was shown by the pressure gauge. How could the gauge reading be effected if during running the temp. rises to 40oC ? It can be presumed that air behaves as an ideal gas and the tyre does not stretch. The atmospheric pressure is equivalent to 1 bar.
