What is the difference between extra. and intraradicular?

Extraradicular means there is lesions came from periodontal or from the adjacent tissue and make periapical infection ----> not related to endodontic root canal " there is no infection inside the canal " Or there is forgion body reaction as cotton pellet inserted inside the canal.
