Q. What is the difference between cerebrum and brain? What are the major parts of these structures?

The concept of brain or encephalon comprehends the cerebrum mostly referred to as the hemispheres, but actually the concept also includes the hypothalamus and the thalamus, the brainstem (midbrain, pons and medulla) and the cerebellum. Spinal cord and Brain form the central nervous system (CNS).
