Diarrhoeas disease rank among th most leading causes of children's death in developing countries. We shall discuss two main problems in this section i.e. diarrhoea and dysentery.
Diarrhoea
Diarrhoea refers to frequent passage of loose watery stools. Acute diarrhoea often called as acute gastroenteritis is particularly a leading cause of mortality in children. Most diarrhoeas which cause dehydration are loose or watery. Cholera is one example of loose or watery diarrhoea. Only a small proportion of all loose or watery diarrhoeas are due to cholera.
CODOMINANCE The alleles which do not show dominance-recessive relationship and are able to express themselves independently when present together are called codominant alleles.
