Determine the types of Cell
Based OII the degree of complexity of the cell organisation, two types of cells, namely, prokaryotes and eukaryotes, are recognised. The prokaryotic cell has a much simpler internal organisation, has no true nucleus, and its genetic material, the DNA is naked, that is, it is not enclosed by a nuclear envelope. The cells of prokaryotes also do not possess any internal membrane bound organelles. The bacteria and blue green algae represent typical prokaryotic cells.
