Determine the Support Reactions

The pin-connected structure shown is supported by a fixed (frictionless) pin at A and by a roller at E . A 3-kN vertical force is applied at F .

a. Determine the support reactions on the pins at A and E .

b. Determine all forces acting on member CDE . Show your results on a report diagram.

c. Determine the components (P,V and M)of the internal equivalent force-couple at section a-a. Show your results on a sketch of the member from pin C to section a-a.
